Team Away Day at Dorney Lake: Purpose, Progress & Perspective

This month, we returned to our second home, Dorney Lake, for a day of team building, reflection and forward planning!

The morning began with an insightful workshop entitled ‘Whole Value’, led by Andrew Baughen. It encouraged us to think more deeply about the impact we create as a team through Beyond Finance, not just in what we do, but in the value we bring to those around us.

We then enjoyed a delicious lunch and a refreshing walk around the lake (an ideal moment to process the morning’s discussions).

Next, our focus groups from across the team shared exciting updates and new opportunities, giving us a glimpse into the initiatives we’ll be working on in the months to come.

Liz followed with an inspiring update on The Charitable Trust, highlighting the meaningful support we’ve been able to provide to several charities between May and October 2025, including The Leprosy Mission. A moving video of Anjali’s story brought home the real-life impact of our efforts.

To close the day, Andy shared some key updates on our internal priorities, leaving us all feeling focused, optimistic and proud to be part of such a Thriving Team!

These away days continue to strengthen our connection as a team and remind us of the meaningful work we do together at Beyond Finance.
