Beyond Finance 2026 Charity Fundraiser
We recently shared the exciting news that on 14–15 May 2026, we’ll be hosting a charity fundraising event at Windmill Farm, home of Beyond Finance.
We’re aiming to raise £40,000 to restore mobility, dignity and hope through life-changing orthopaedic surgeries at Dreamland Mission Hospital in Kimilili, Kenya.
Every donation will be doubled through match-funding!
Why is this project important?
Dreamland Mission Hospital serves a rural community, where many simply cannot afford life-transforming orthopaedic surgery.
When a broken limb requires metalwork, costing £600–£900, patients are often sadly left to live with a disability or face amputation. The hospital has the facilities to carry out the procedures; however, they need the funds to purchase the metalwork and cover the cost of surgery.
What is the event?
We would love you to join us for this big community fundraiser as we aim to complete 1,000 laps over two days!
This is an event for everyone: clients, supporters, friends, families and the local community.
You may choose to:
- Enjoy a gentle and scenic walk around the shorter lap of Windmill Farm
- Challenge yourself to the longer 6.7km route taking in some local trails
- Join friends for a sociable stroll
- Drop in for tea, cake and conversation.
There’ll be a tea & cake station, as well as a MedAid tent where you can learn more about the life-changing surgeries. Whilst this is all going on, there will be a small group of experienced runners, including Andy Hounsell, taking on a 24-hour ‘Backyard Ultra’ inspired challenge, running a 6.7km lap on the hour, every hour and they will no doubt appreciate your encouragement.
