An Evening with Simon Reeve
One of our clients recently swapped the sofa for a seat at their local theatre to see none other than TV adventurer Simon Reeve and came away truly inspired.
Simon has lived a life straight out of a movie trailer: arrested by the KGB, chased by cheetahs and even hunting with the San Bushmen in the Kalahari. Simon Reeve doesn’t just tell stories, he lives them. Widely known as one of British television’s top adventure travellers, he’s journeyed through more than 130 countries, venturing into some of the most breathtaking, remote and downright dangerous corners of the world.
This is what our client had to say about the evening:
“I left the theatre with a sense of wonder at the diversity and beauty of this planet on which we live and a realisation that, although I don’t have the adventuring spirit (or the budget) to go to far-flung and dangerous places, I have the amazing opportunity and freedom to explore and find fascination in my own locality and the variety and wonder of “this sceptred isle”.
Simon had us all repeat his catchphrase to encourage us to get out more… “Less screen, more green!”
