Supporting those most in need

This year the £2,000 saved by not sending Christmas cards will be directed to Kings Church Amersham Furniture Project.

Kings Church Amersham Furniture Project (FP) collects, stores and then delivers good quality second hand furniture, free of charge to people who have no furniture, by using volunteers from the church and local community.

They provide furniture and brand new bedding (duvets, bottom sheets, pillow slips, duvet covers and pillows) to those who live in the Chalfonts, Amersham and Chesham and surrounding villages who are deprived of essentials and are on the edge of society.

They are referred by Buckinghamshire Council, Local Churches, Woman’s Aid, Social Services, Citizens Advice Bureau, Bucks NHS Mental Health Trust, Christians Against Poverty, Restore Hope, Chiltern Food Bank, Bucks Helping Hands, One Recovery Bucks, Paradigm Housing Association and Bucks Family Services etc.
