Financial Planner

I joined the Beyond Finance team in May 2022. I befriended Andy at Goldhill Baptist Church many years ago and therefore had been aware of Beyond Finance for some time. I was drawn to Andy’s passion for looking beyond money and encouraging clients to be generous both to themselves and others.

Prior to joining Beyond Finance, I worked in Barclays for over 17 years and had various roles in different departments over my time there, including Wealth Management, Business Development, and acted as a Financial Planner working with both corporate and personal clients. After graduating from university, I completed a graduate scheme with Marks & Spencer. However, I soon realised that I was more suited to a career in finance rather than in retail.

I am excited to be a part of the Beyond Finance team and to continue Andy’s legacy of helping people achieve their financial goals. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to make the most of their money, and I am committed to providing our clients with the best possible guidance.

I am passionate about encouraging our clients to be generous with their money as I believe it is important to give back to the community.

I am confident that I can make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and am excited to continue this new chapter in my career.

My wonderful wife Susan and I have been married for over 23 years, and we have three delightful children, two at university and one at Junior school. I play a key role in Goldhill Baptist church as a Council Member. As part of that role, I was honoured to help lead the Project Team to build the new church hub in the village. My daily commute to work is by bike, and at age 53, I’m relieved just to get here safely and get some daily exercise!
